DATA PROTECTION NOTICE FOR CUSTOMERS/STAKEHOLDER

This Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) sets out the basis which Wealthgate International Trading Pte Ltd (“we”,) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”).

Our goal is to provide financial services to everyone globally. As part of this commitment, we handle our customers' personal information responsibly and ethically.

This Notice administer the way we may collect, use and disclose personal data about any individual (you). This Privacy Policy sets out the manner in which we comply with our obligations under the PDPA.

This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, store, protect, disclose, and share your personal information when you access our services—whether on our website and in retail location. It also outlines your choices regarding how your information is gathered and used for our purposes

1. As used in this Notice: “customer” means an individual who has contacted us through any means to find out more about any services we provide, or has entered into a contract with us for the supply services by us; and “personal data” means data, that can be identified from and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.

2. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data which we may collect from you include name, personal ID, email, address, contact number, photograph, place of birth, date of birth, gender, citizenship, occupation, marital status, and government or national identification numbers and accompanying documentation and financial information.

3. We take the privacy and security of an individual’s personal information very seriously. We will only process your Personal Information in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

4. We do not collect, use or disclose any sensitive data about any person. This includes a person’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinion, political association, religious belief or affiliation, philosophical belief, professional or trade union or association, sexual preference, criminal record or health information.

5. We may not collect, use or disclose your personal data unless you have given, or deemed to have given, your consent under PDPA to the collection, use or disclosure of the personal data

COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

6. We collect and use your personal data for compliance intent on fraud monitoring, laws associated with the identification and AML ( Anti Money Laundering ) reporting of illegal and illicit activity , KYC (Know-Your-Customer) obligations or all the following purposes:
   
   (a) performing obligations in the course of providing the services to you
   (b) Verifying your identity
   (c) processing queries, requests, application, complaints, and feedback from you
   (d) processing payment or transactions

6.1 We will notify you through appropriate means such as email notification, or application form and onboarding portal and,
depending on the circumstances

6.2 If you are a job seeker, in addition to the specific position which you have applied for, we may disclose your personal data to our related companies for the purposes of offering additional employment opportunities.

6.3 If you are an investor or shareholder, we may use your personal data to (a) send you information about Wealthgate (b) manage investor/shareholder relations; and (c) comply with regulatory requirements.

7. We may disclose your personal data: where such disclosure is required for performing obligations in the course of our provision of the services requested by you; or to third party service providers, and other organisations we have engaged to perform any of the functions with reference to the mentioned purposes.

(a) Fraud detection and prevention;

(b) Detection and prevention of misuse of services;

(c) Network analysis to prevent fraud and financial crime, and perform credit analysis; and

(d) Collection and use of personal data on company-issued devices to prevent data loss.

8. We may retain your personal data for the purposes listed in the above clauses even in situations where your relationship with us has been terminated for up to 5 years, or Where we no longer require your personal information for those purposes, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law or in order to defend legal claims

9. Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.

ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

10. If you wish to access or correct your personal data which we hold , you may submit your request in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer at contact@wealthgate.com

10.1 You have the right to know if we are processing your personal information and to ask us for a copy of your information

10.2 You may opt out of marketing communications at any time

10.3 You have the right to ask us to correct information about you that is incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date.

10.4 You have the right to ask us to delete certain information about you, to restrict certain uses of information relating to you, and to object to certain uses of it.

ACCURACY OF PERSONAL DATA

11. We generally rely on personal data provided by you. In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete and accurate, please update us if there are changes to your personal data

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

12 We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.

12.1 We will cease to retain your personal data, where such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE OF SINGAPORE

13. We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore. However, if we do so, we will obtain your consent for the transfer to be made and we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA ( IT )

14. To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures such as :

    (a) authentication and access controls
    (b) encryption of data,

    (c) up-to-date antivirus protection, regular patching of operating system and other software,

(d) securely erase storage media in devices before disposal, web security measures against risks,

(e) usage of one time password (OTP) / 2 factor authentication (2fa) / multi-factor authentication (mfa) to secure access,

and security review

(f) and testing performed regularly.

14.1 Do be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.

14.2 We do not guarantee that our systems or applications are that our systems or applications are immune to security breaches, nor do we provide any guarantee, warranty, or representation regarding the safety of your use of our systems or applications from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other vulnerabilities. Additionally, we cannot ensure the security of data you elect to transmit to us electronically; transmission of such data is done entirely at your own risk.
